Studio (beta)

Edit the words. The video follows.

A timeline editor inside BlackOps. Trim and reorder on the canvas, or select words in the transcript and cut to the selection. Render and publish to YouTube without leaving.

There's a better way

The Old Way

  • Export from one tool, import to another, lose track of which cut is current
  • Scrub back and forth hunting the exact frame a sentence starts
  • Recording a voiceover means a separate session and manual sync
  • Publishing is a download, then an upload, then metadata again

The BlackOps Way

  • Editing lives where your content already lives
  • Select the words, trim to the selection, cuts land on word boundaries
  • Record over the timeline with playback rolling in sync
  • Render and publish to YouTube in the same place

Why Studio?

A transcript is a better editing surface than a waveform

Cut by selecting words

Auto-transcription with word-level timestamps. Highlight the sentence you want gone and trim to the selection. Cuts land on word boundaries, not wherever you happened to drop the playhead.

Trim you can see

Drag the handles on a clip and the head and tail about to be cut show as red diagonal stripes with a cut control. Nothing disappears before you say so.

Record over the playhead

Hit record at any position and webcam plus mic roll in sync with project playback, so you can narrate what is on screen. It lands as a picture-in-picture on the overlay lane and joins the library for reuse.

Straight to YouTube

Render through the same pipeline the rest of the video system uses, then publish without exporting a file and uploading it somewhere else.

How It Works

1

Start a project

Pick a format and the timeline canvas matches it. 1920x1080, 1080x1080, 1080x1920, whatever the destination needs.

2

Bring in footage

Upload mp4, webm, or mov up to a gigabyte straight from the browser, import a direct video URL or a YouTube link, or record on the spot.

3

Cut, render, publish

Your edit compiles into the same VideoSpec the generation engine renders. Studio is the editing surface for that pipeline, not a second one.

Stop scrubbing for the cut.

Read it, select it, remove it.
