Videos From Your Agent

Your agent renders the video. BlackOps gives it your brand, your narrator and the platform limits, then stores the file and attaches it to any draft.

Your agent can already make a video. Claude, Grok and other agents with a code environment write the scenes, render the MP4 and hand it to BlackOps. BlackOps supplies what the agent cannot know on its own: your brand, your narrator voice, the limits each platform enforces, and the place the file lives once it is done.

How It Works

  1. Get the brand kit. Your agent calls get_brand_kit for your site. It returns your colors, fonts, logo, narrator voice, video formats with safe areas, and size, duration and pacing guidance for each platform.
  2. Render the video. The agent builds and renders it with whatever it prefers, such as HyperFrames, Remotion or ffmpeg. Nothing is rendered on BlackOps.
  3. Upload it. The agent calls get_media_upload_url, sends the file straight to storage with an HTTP PUT, then calls finalize_media_upload. The file lands in your media library.
  4. Attach it to a draft. The agent passes the asset_id to the attach tool for that platform. You review the draft and approve it before anything goes out.

The Brand Kit

get_brand_kit takes your domain and an optional platform (x, tiktok, linkedin, threads or blog). It returns three things.

  • brand_design: the same fields as get_brand_design, including light and dark surface colors, fonts and logo.
  • narrator: the ElevenLabs voice for your site. Your custom voice comes first, then your site default, then the platform default.
  • video: formats, platform guidance and the upload steps.
FormatAspectBest for
1080x19209:16TikTok, Threads, X
1920x108016:9X, LinkedIn, blog posts
1080x10801:1X, LinkedIn, Threads

Each format comes with a safe area in pixels. On vertical video, platforms draw their own buttons and captions over the top and bottom of the frame, so keep text and logos inside it.

Uploading Large Files

Video bytes go directly to storage, never through a BlackOps request, so large files are fine. The limit is 1 GB per video, in MP4, WebM or QuickTime. H.264 MP4 with AAC audio works on every platform.

PlatformAttach toolLimits to plan for
Xattach_media_to_tweet512 MB and 140 seconds. BlackOps sends the file to X at publish time, so keep it as small as the quality allows.
TikTokattach_video_to_tiktokOne vertical video per post. Your account's maximum duration comes from get_tiktok_creator_info.
LinkedInattach_media_to_linkedin_postSquare or landscape reads best in the feed. The file goes to LinkedIn when you attach it, so very large files can time out.
Threadsattach_media_to_threadVertical or square.
Blog postattach_media_to_postUse hero_video for a header video or inline for the body.

Requirements

Your agent needs somewhere to run code so it can render the file. Agents without a code environment can still read the brand kit, and you can upload a finished video yourself from the media library and attach it to a draft in the BlackOps app.
