Start: Brain-Dump Onboarding
Tell BlackOps what you know — speak it, type it, or upload it — and walk out with a compiled AI knowledge base and your first post built on it.
The /start flow turns what you already know into two things: a brain (your personal AI knowledge base) and a first post built on its specifics. You never start from a blank page, and you never get asked for an email before you've seen what the system understood.
The steps
- Brain dump. Tell us what you're passionate about. Speak it (we transcribe), type it, or upload a document (pdf, docx, md, or txt — up to 10MB). All three land in the same pipeline.
- Interview. We ask a handful of questions — each one built on something specific you said, and each shows you the exact phrase it's digging into. Thin input gets more questions; rich input gets fewer, sharper ones.
- The reveal. Your material and answers come back structured: themes, the concrete specifics under each, and the founding notes of your brain. If it looks right, tell us where to send it — your email creates the account it lives in, no password.
- Your look. Drop a link you own — your website, or your LinkedIn/X profile — and your site takes on your visual identity before anything publishes. Websites get their declared colors, type, and logo read directly; profiles get a fifteen-second guided pick instead (curated palettes, type pairings, and your avatar, an upload, or a generated wordmark as the logo). No hex codes anywhere, and a quiet skip if you'd rather style it later. See Brand Identity Capture.
- Angles. Post ideas built on the specific details you gave — each card names the exact quote it stands on. Not "5 tips about your topic."
- Details. Picking an angle starts a short second interview (one to three questions, skippable) scoped to that post. Those answers also land back in your brain as a note, so every post you write makes the next one sharper.
- Publish and share. The draft is written from your words, editable inline (your rewrite teaches your brand voice), published to your hosted site — in your captured identity — with share copy for X and LinkedIn in your voice.
Where things live afterward
- Your brain is a real, compiled knowledge base in your account — no GitHub or vault connection required. Every AI feature that grounds on brains (replies, drafts, agents) can use it immediately, and you can add notes to it any time.
- Your post is live on your hosted site and editable from the dashboard like any other post.
- The full promotion machinery (scheduling, campaigns, multi-platform posting) unlocks in the dashboard once you connect your accounts.
Notes
- Nothing is created until you submit material, and unclaimed sessions expire automatically after 72 hours.
- Everything you submit passes moderation before it can reach a hosted page.
- If you leave mid-flow, coming back to
/startresumes exactly where you were. - If you saved your brain but stalled before publishing, we send at most three reminders (a day, three days, and a week after you stop) — each names your actual brain, links straight back to where you left off, and has a one-click stop link that needs no login.
