Set up your profile and publish your first post in minutes, then optionally connect X, LinkedIn, and the MCP to amplify your published work.
A few minutes of setup and you're ready to publish. Do the first two steps now. The rest can wait until after your first post is live.
1. Set up your profile
Basic information
- Add your name, bio, and what you actually do
- Set your timezone so scheduling lands at the right hour
- Choose your notification preferences
Why it matters: Your profile and your own words are what BlackOps draws on. It refines what you write. It never invents a voice for you.
2. Publish your first post
This is the whole point, and you can do it before connecting anything. When you sign in, the getting-started panel on your dashboard walks you through it: answer a few questions, BlackOps drafts a post from your answers, you review and publish.
No integrations required. You bring the judgment, BlackOps handles the production. Human-authored, AI-refined.

3. Connect your channels (optional)
Once a post is live, connect the channels you actually use so you can amplify it. Each one is independent. Skip the ones you don't need.
X (Twitter)
Post threads and promo tweets that link back to your work, and schedule them.
Cross-post to your professional audience, including carousels.
Security note: connections use OAuth 2.0. We never store your passwords, and you can revoke access anytime.
4. Connect the MCP and capture tools (optional)
The fastest way to run BlackOps is from your AI chat. Connect the MCP and a conversation becomes a thread, a post, and a scheduled campaign. The browser extension and iOS shortcuts let you capture context from anywhere, which informs your editorial calls later.
