Capture ideas instantly without breaking your flow. The Quick Capture feature lets you record thoughts in seconds from anywhere in the admin panel.
Keyboard Shortcut
Cmd + I
or Ctrl+I on Windows/Linux
Press this shortcut from any page in the admin panel. A modal will instantly appear, ready for your idea. No need to navigate to the inbox first.
How to Capture an Idea
- Open Quick Capture, Press
Cmd+Ior click the "+ Capture" button in the inbox. - Type Your Idea, Write whatever comes to mind. It doesn't need to be polished, raw thoughts, sentence fragments, or detailed notes all work. AI will clean it up.
- Submit, Press
Cmd+Enteror click "Capture". The idea is saved instantly and AI processing begins in the background. - Continue Working, The modal closes and you're back to what you were doing. AI processes your idea in the background, no waiting required. For multi-site users, AI also determines which site(s) the idea belongs to.
What Gets Captured
When you submit an idea, the system captures and processes:
Saved Immediately
- Raw content: Your exact text as entered
- Source type: "Quick Entry" for keyboard captures
- Timestamp: When you captured the idea
Added by AI
- Title: Auto-generated summary headline
- Cleaned content: Polished version of your text
- Keywords: Extracted topics and themes
- Content types: Suggested formats (blog, tweet, etc.)
- Reservoir match: Best-fit reservoir with score
- Cross-site routing: For multi-site users, AI routes to relevant sites
